Weaving threads of hope, one stole at a time

Grace Episcopal is a small church located in Nampa, Idaho. When the house next door to the parish hall went up for the sale, the congregation started dreaming about a housing ministry for single-mothers pursuing education. The House Next Door, Inc. was born out of this.

Like many small churches, there was never enough money to fund that kind of ministry, much less all the other ministries it would continue to do such as after-school programs, kids summer hikes, and family camps to name a few. The priest who knew how to make stoles, an intern who knew how to run an Etsy shop, and a few faithful sewers decided that they would start making stoles and sell them online through Etsy. What started as an Etsy shop, soon turned into Threads of Grace, Inc. with hopes of being able to grow, hire sewist, and provide grants to The House Next Door, Grace Episcopal Church, along with a few other local non-profit organizations. They never imagined they would be shipping internationally, to almost every state, and across many denominations and faiths within a few years of starting.

We strive to have the best product with the most creative designs. We are passionate about custom designs, and finding stunning textiles to create our stoles. We support local, Idaho businesses, and other small businesses whenever possible. By purchasing stoles from us you are supporting women in all walks of life whether they are sewist, women in the house, or children in our vibrant youth group!
